An Annual General Meeting (AGM), or a shareholders meeting, is a large gathering held by publicly traded companies. These meetings are held in order to let shareholders ask the board of directors questions about a company’s health, as well as to elect new members to the board. These events are typically held quarterly or annually to keep shareholders updated about company issues and to take care of other executive-level business.
