The Jurong Shipyard Aracruz – EJA reaches the Espírito Santo to do a new mode of business in the state. With the advance of oil exploration in the pre-salt layer, the expectations of naval infrastructure investments require the creation of an appropriate site to meet the demands of the industry, which requires high technology and quality products for the realization of bold designs .
The structure offered by EJA will be prepared to not only meet the demands of Petrobras, but the demands of the world market in manufacturing boats and jackets (basic structures of oil platforms), generating business for local suppliers, employment and income for local workers and foreign exchange for the Espírito Santo state.
Jurong operates in Brazil for nearly 14 years and is responsible for more than 50% of Brazilian production platforms for oil (a total of 11 oil platforms) among them the P50 (a landmark of Brazilian sustainable self-sufficiency in oil production), P54, P43, P37, P40, P38. It has also built four modern sonar, chartered to Petrobras indirectly, among them West Taurus and West Sirius.
