Österreichischer Lloyd” was originally founded in 1836 and one of the biggest shipping companies in the world at the turn of the century.With the demise of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918, ÖL ceased to exist and wasre-born shortly after the Second World War as a shipowning company.In 1991, the two Managing Partners Mag. Hans-Georg Wurmböck and Capt. Eberhard Koch, established a shipmanagement subsidiary, both for in-house as well as third party vessels.
