Eastern Shipbuilding Group is a shipbuilding and marine repair company specializing in commercial steel and aluminum vessel construction and repair. Eastern also engages in industrial steel fabrication.

Eastern Shipbuilding Groups largest shipyard facility is a 140 acre site which is located 12 miles east in Allanton, Bay County, Florida. This facility has over 5,200 feet of water frontage and is adjacent to the intercostal waterway. This large facility is laid out for multiple vessel, as well as large vessel construction. Eight 200′ supply vessels were built at this facility within a twelve month period, and the largest vessels built to date have been two 401′ sulfur tankers.

In addition to new construction Eastern Shipbuilding Group, specializes in major conversions and repairs. Over fifty vessels have been converted including Oil Supply Vessel lengthenings, conversion of six Oil Supply Vessels to North Sea Rescue Platforms, Utility Vessels to Catcher/Processor Fishing Vessels, Cargo Ships to Fish Processor Vessels, Passenger Vessel upgrades such as Dinner Vessels to Casino Vessels, Oil Supply Vessels to Passenger/Vehicle Ferries and our most recent conversion, a 472 ft. self-unloading phosphate rock barge to a 22,000 DWT heated liquid sulphur barge.
