    Empire Chemical Tanker Holdings Inc. (‘Empire’ or the ‘Company’) was formed to built one of the largest and newest fleets of IMO type II chemical tankers in the world.
    Empire currently manages IMO type II, MarineLine coated chemical tankers that range in size from 17,000 to 25,000 DWT the delivery of which started in July 2008. These vessels position the Company to capitalize on the increasing worldwide demand for chemical tankers driven by global economic growth/development and changing environmental regulations, which will make much of the current chemical tanker fleet obsolete.
