UK Docks Wearside offers dry dock and afloat facilities for design, construction, repair and engineering to marine, offshore and industrial companies throughout the world.
Located in the city of Sunderland’s South Docks, Wear Dock produces innovative and flexible capabilities in a wide range of expertise including:

Ship repair and refits
Major conversion work
Engineering and fabrication
Vessel upgrades and ship life extension programmes
Installation of new equipment
Hull and tank blasting, preparation and painting
Engine and machinery equipment overhaul
Electrical, pipework and joinery installations and repairs
All steel repairs and construction

Dry dock -116m x 16.5m x 5m draft (inside breadth 20.6m)
150 metres of non-tidal repair berthing facilities
Both dry docks and repair berth is fully serviced with shore power, fresh water, ballast water, sewage and waste oil collection
750m2 of fully equipped steel fabrication workshop serviced by fixed travelling overhead craneage.
